Turning on Payments for your clients

To apply, your client simply needs to sign in to QuickBooks Online and click the "Get Started" link in the home page Activity Feed, or the "Get Set Up" link when creating a new invoice.

QuickBooks Payments is ready to use as soon as your client is approved as a merchant. Many applications will be automatically approved during the set-up process, so your client could be ready to take payments in a matter of minutes.2

Once QuickBooks Payments is activated they can start accepting credit and debit card payments over the phone and through "Pay Now" links in emailed invoices.
