“We were so happy when we won! The money became secondary; it was more about the recognition of what we do. We would have been happy with 300 votes of support, let alone winning the money. It has given us a great marketing tool.
“The competition helped us to engage with our customers and other businesses; we got to reconnect with people, which was really nice, it can be an isolating experience running a business.
“We want to capitalise on this channel of communication we have opened up, so customers can ask questions and we can give out honest advice.
“We are planning to pitch to investors in the near future, and are hoping that the brand recognition caused by this win will encourage investors that we are a popular brand and worthy of their investment.”

“It was so great to win! The competition really helped our publicity and showed a massive interaction from our online community. We want to get more people using the site and this has.
“Part of our business provides social media packages for other businesses in order to help them understand the relevance of social media. The prize money will enable us to develop this aspect of our business further.
“The money we have won is going to go towards our new online marketing TV show aiming to increase growth. We want to start producing videos in order to promote our site and our products.
“The competition has shown us how we can connect with our community. People are willing to watch videos on Vine and YouTube, but not necessarily read articles.
“Ideally we want our sub sites to be made into their own sites, creating an overall brand, the Trusted Group, like Michelin. This is not a small plan, we want to be big!”
