With over 5,000 visitors and 180 exhibitors, Accountex 2015 certainly lived up to its reputation of being the biggest accountancy event of the year.
At the QuickBooks stand we saw the opportunity to continue to build on the existing relationships we have with our customers, understanding more about the specific opportunities and challenges their currently facing
Technology has always been at the heart of what we do, and we demonstrated that by launching the new QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) at the show. With updates to the product that help our accountants to save time, grow their practice and transform the way they offer value to their clients, QBOA was very well received at the stand. We look forward to sharing it with you all in the next few weeks.
“The buzz technology is creating in the industry is getting louder. Having spoken to many accountants at the show, I see an insatiable appetite for help, training and guidance on the move to the cloud. Accountants are hungry for partnership and, as the world leader, QuickBooks is well-placed to deliver that and provide a long-term, stable partnership.”
Accountex is always a great opportunity to speak to our audience face-to-face and let them know how we’re going to work with them, and this year was no different. With the introduction of the new QuickBooks Online Accountant and equipped with new insights from our audience, we feel even more inspired to help accountants transform their practices and add value to their clients.
Rich Preece, UK VP & Managing Director, said:
“Our focus this year was again on enabling success for UK accountancy firms by giving them the tools and platform they need to support and grow their clients’ businesses. Our new product is designed with a sharp focus on helping accounting professionals and their clients succeed and totally redefines how they work together. Feedback from our customers have been phenomenal and we know that we’ve once again delighted our accounting partners with a solution that will transform their practices.”
Delegates who stopped by Intuit’s stand were also treated to an amazing lineup of speakers in the Intuit Theatre, including industry heavyweights like value pricing expert, Mark Wickersham; Mark Lee, the most networked accountant in the UK, as well as broader thought leaders like Jonathan Margolis, columnist and tech guru for the Financial Times.
Thanks to everyone who made this year’s show possible.
