I am having trouble with my bank accounts not updating. They were working until just over a week ago and i cannot update it since. They are Scotiabank accounts.

Connecting your Scotiabank accounts to QuickBooks Online is an awesome way to streamline your bookkeeping and save you time. It's essential for your account to be importing your transactions each night so that you can complete your reconciliations with ease. If you're noticing that your accounts aren't updating, there's a few steps you can try to resolve that.

 

First, try triggering a manual update by clicking Banking > Update. Sometimes this is all it takes to bring in missing transactions.

 

If you're still noticing that your transactions aren't appearing in the bank feed, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. These are the stored Internet files that build up over time, and they can cause bugs in QBO and other sites. Here's how to clear them: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

If you're seeing a particular error message when trying to update your bank feed, you can search the error in the Community for steps on how to resolve it. For example, you can search "Fix bank error 103". 

If you're not seeing a particular error message, and the browser troubleshooting steps haven't resolved the issue, please reach out to our tech support team so an agent can investigate this further for you.

I am having trouble with my bank accounts not updating. They were working until just over a week ago and i cannot update it since. They are Scotiabank accounts.

I am having the same problems with updating Scotiabank and the suggested steps do not work. I contacted support and they indicated that they are working on a fix. They have no idea how long the fix will take, so I continue to wait........
