How do you do pay stubs

Hi there, 


With online payroll, you can print pay cheques or print pay stubs for your employees. I'd be happy to show you how to accomplish this on your end. 


Here's how to print pay stubs on blank paper:

Tip: Save time and paper with QuickBooks Workforce. Invite your workers to get their pay stubs online.


Step 1: Set up your pay stub printing preferences


If you haven't already, make sure you're set up to print plain paper stubs.

  1. Go to Settings ⚙️, then select Payroll Settings.
  2. In the Preferences section, select Pay cheque Printing.
  3. Select Plain paper stubs, then select OK.

Step 2: Print pay stubs

  1. Go to Workers, then select Employees.
  2. In the My Payroll section, select Pay cheque list.
  3. Select the pay cheques you'd like to print, then select Print.
