Ran payroll last week for July 10th but it is still showing my next payroll run is July 10th

Hi there,

Running Payroll with QuickBooks Online means that you'll be more organized than ever. Payroll is a fundamental part of operating a small business, which is largely intertwined with the rest of your accounting tasks. If you're running into an issue whereby the next pay date is showing as one you've already run payroll for, I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for further support.

Once you submit your pay run for a particular period, the system should show the next pay date after the one ran. If you've submitted your payroll for the July 10th period and you're still seeing this as the next pay date, it's important to make sure you've submitted everything properly in QBO.

If you're using Standard Payroll, you can check to make sure things have been submitted successfully by clicking Employees > Pay cheque list. This will display the pay stubs from the most recent payroll. If you're using Advanced Payroll, you can review that same information by clicking Employees > View Reports > Paystubs. From there, select the pay period to double-check that it was successfully ran.

If everything looks to be recorded correctly and you're still seeing July 10th as the next pay period, it's important for an agent on our tech support team to investigate this further. By looking at your specific account setup and the information in our systems, an agent will be able to diagnose this issue for you.

I hope this helps.

Take care.
