Hi there,
Receipt Forwarding is another one of the helpful ways QuickBooks Self-Employed can save you time. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction here.
I recommend reviewing the two workflows that are a part of Receipt Forwarding: Email verification, and the actual receipt forwarding process. Here's the steps: Receipt forwarding feature Overview.
It sounds like you've set up your email for verification. Make sure that each verification step is followed as outlined in the article above, such as entering the verification code. Once verified, instructions appear on the Receipt Forwarding screen. This includes details on how to forward receipts to us. We also allow users to opt out to email notifications when QuickBooks Self-Employed receives forwarded receipts. We will always notify users if there is an issue.
If you're still having issues after walking through the steps in the article above, I recommend reaching out to QuickBooks Self-Employed support directly here: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_CA/contact. These agents are experts in the Self-Employed version of QuickBooks, and I'm confident they'll be able to get you back on track in no time.
Cheers!
