Enter invoices to customers in QuickBooks Self-Employed

  1. Select Invoices from the left menu.
  2. Click Create invoice.
  3. Enter in the customer information and work done.
  4. Click Send invoice to email it to your customer.

Enter bills/expenses from vendors in QuickBooks Self-Employed

  1. Select Transactions from the left menu.
  2. Choose Add transaction.
  3. Enter the transaction details.
  4. Click Save.

To get additional help with any of this, I recommend touching base with QuickBooks Self-Employed support directly. You can do this by using the QB Assistant tool, which opens up a virtual chat.
