How do I specify the unit on an invoice

When I am creating an invoice, and I add work by item, is there any way that I can change the word unit to something else?  I would like to have the word unit replaced by square foot or sq. ft.

Thank you in advance!

How do I specify the unit on an invoice

Hi there, Jen 1.

Editing the invoice's wording is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Self-Employed is. You might want to use the Description field to indicate that the item you're selling is measured by foot.

I'll definitely share this as a feature request with our product engineers. Most of the updates we recently had were based from customer's comments and suggestions.

I appreciate the feedback! Hearing from customers like you is the perfect way for Intuit to know how to enhance the product for your needs as a business owner. Did you know you can leave feedback right in product? To do this, follow these simple steps.

  1. Click Assistant.
  2. Type Feedback.
  3. Follow the prompts to leave your feedback.

In QuickBooks Self-Employed, you'll note that there isn't an accessible customer list to change the information on file. However, you can change the customer information when you create an invoice for them. All you need to do is erase the information currently entered in the fields and then enter the new details. The program will update that information and auto-populate the new details when you create a new transaction.
