Quick Books aborting issues. We need some solution for this issue since the situation is getting worse where the user does not see the transactions enter before the abort and have to input the data again to later discover that there are duplicate transactions creating a double work and waste of time. It seems like it works better with Windows 10, is that is the case QuickBooks need to make some changes to fix the issue.

We have tried everything it was advised by Quick Books, but problem continue. I also want to clarify that the problem continues with 2023 version.

Hi there, Connie. I can help you how to fix the issue that you've experienced and how to exclude duplicate transactions in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Have you tried using our QuickBooks Tool Hub? If you haven't already, please download and install it on your desktop and follow these steps to help fix problems and errors.

Here's how:

  1. Close QuickBooks. Then, download the most recent version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  2. Store the file where it's easy to find it.
  3. Open the file you downloaded (QuickBooksToolhub.exe).
  4. Follow the pop-up screen steps to install and agree to the terms and conditions.
  5. After installation, double-tap the icon on your Windows desktop to open.

Refer to this article for step two to learn how to use the QuickBooks Tool Hub: Use the tools in the QuickBooks Tool Hub.

If you've already tried using the QuickBooks Tool Hub, you can consider reaching out to our contact support to report the abortion you've encountered.

In addition, you can also back up your accounting data in QuickBooks Desktop as a savepoint in your accounting data: Back up your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

Comment on the post if you still have concerns about QuickBooks aborting errors. I'm always here to help you in any way I can.
