Apply for a QuickBooks Payments account

With multiple ways to get you signed up, applying for a QuickBooks Payments account has never been this easy!

Online via the website:

For credit card transactions, you can apply for a QuickBooks Payments account at www.payments.intuit.com.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) web-based application:

  1. Select the Gear icon at the top, then select Account and Settings.
  2. Select  Payments > Learn More > Choose Pricing Plan to submit your payments account application to us.

QuickBooks Financial (QuickBooks Desktop) software:

  1. From the Customers menu, select Add Credit Card Processing.
  2. Complete the online form to submit your payments account application to us.

QuickBooks Desktop Point-of-Sale (QB POS):

  1. From the File menu, select Setup Interview.
  2. Choose Payments tab and select Yes to accept credit cards.
  3. Select Activate Now.
  4. Complete the online form to submit your payments account application to us.

GoPayment application:

  1. If you have installed the GoPayment application on your mobile device you can apply for a payments account from there.
  2. Open the GoPayment application and choose the Sign Up option.
  3. Complete the application on your mobile device to submit your payments account application to us.
