Vendors overview

The Vendors page is where you keep track of the vendors you work with. Vendors are people or companies that you pay money to, such as a store, utility, landlord, or subcontractor who does work for you.

The vendors money bar

The colored bar at the top of the Vendors page is called the Vendors money bar. It gives you a visual overview of your vendors interactions.
It shows the number and total amount of the following:

  • Purchase orders you have open with vendors.
  • Bills from vendors and how many are overdue.
  • Bills you’ve paid in the last 30 days.

To add a vendor

Here's how to add a vendor:

  1. Select Expenses and then Vendors.

  2. Select Add a vendor.

  3. Complete the fields in the Vendor Information window.
  4. Select Save.

View transactions for vendors

Here’s how to view transactions for vendors:

  1. Select Expenses and then Vendors.

  2. Find and select the appropriate vendor.
  3. Under Transaction List, you should see all transactions for this vendor.

Other tasks you can do on the Vendor page

Here are other tasks you can do on the Vendor page:

  • Select Edit to update the vendor profile.
  • Select New transaction to create a new Bill, Expense, Purchase Order, or Check for your vendor.
  • Select the Filter drop-down the to show only certain transaction types.
  • Select the Printer icon to print the vendor transactions.
  • Select the Export icon to export the vendor transactions to an Excel spreadsheet.
