by Intuit•16• Updated 2 months ago
Connecting QuickBooks Online with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) will create a secure channel for sharing information like your Business Activity Statement (BAS) or Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
Before you start
- Please ensure that you have been added as a non-accountant admin user on the QuickBooks Online File to enable BAS electronic lodgement.
- Check that your user profile name (first and last name) in QuickBooks matches exactly what is listed in your ATO profile. For example - John Smith, not john@smith.com.au.
- Have your Australian Business Number (ABN), Tax File Number (TFN), and Business phone number handy.
