MMC Convert is our data migration supplier available to help make your transition to QuickBooks Online as smooth as possible.

Is MMC Convert endorsed by Intuit, the makers of QuickBooks?
Yes. Although MMC Convert is not part of Intuit, they work in partnership with Intuit to ensure we’re able to transfer data swiftly and accurately. Intuit recommends using MMC Convert if you’re transferring to QuickBooks Online from another accounting software or Microsoft Excel.
How long will it take to import my data?
We will aim to complete your conversion within two to four working days of receiving your data file, although it is often much faster than that.
How will my business data be used?
When you send MMC Convert your business data, they simply convert it to the QuickBooks Online format. They don’t review it in detail; share it with anyone outside their business, or use it for anything else. Once you let them know you’re happy with your QuickBooks Online account then your data will be permanently deleted from MMC Convert servers.
How will my business data be protected?
As long as you use MMC Convert to upload your data, it will be protected using the industry-standard SSL encryption. Data is removed from their servers promptly after you have uploaded, and they store a copy on their servers during the conversion process. Post the conversion they move your data to secure offline storage where it is encrypted. It is best practice to password protect your source data file.

What data will be converted?
Depending on the data conversion option you choose you will receive different inclusions. We are able to move the following data to QuickBooks Online:
Basic Migration
- Chart of Accounts
- Customer Details
- Supplier Details
- Opening Account Balances
- Open Sales Invoices and adjustment notes
- Open Purchase Invoices and adjustment notes
- Item Details
Year to Date Migration
The year to date conversion includes everything above and:
- Bank Transactions (Includes Invoice payments, Bill payments and other Bank Transactions)
- Credit Card Transactions
- All Invoices and Adjustment Notes Detailed
- All Bills and Adjustment Notes Detailed
- All Manual Journals
- Jobs and Categories can be brought as Classes (optional)

I’ve already signed up for QuickBooks Online. Can I move my data to that account?
Yes. If you have an existing Essentials or Plus QuickBooks Online file you would like us to move your data in to, make sure to reset your file to the default settings before getting started which deletes any data in the file and disables taxes. Your file is then ready for MMC Convert to start moving your data.
How does the process work?

- Reset your QuickBooks Account (if required)
- Place a conversion request
- Once the conversion is complete, review and approve your data
