Learn how to add a customer's shipping address to invoices in QuickBooks Online.
If you’ve saved separate shipping and billing addresses for a customer in QuickBooks Online, you can show them both on an invoice.
Prerequisites
- A customer record must already exist in your account.
- Customers need a separate shipping address saved before you can add it to invoices.
Add a unique shipping address
To add a unique shipping address to a customer record, follow these steps.
- Go to All apps
, select Customer Hub, then select Customers & leads (Take me there). - Select the customer you want to edit.
- Select Edit.
- Go to the Shipping address section.
- Untick the Same as billing address box.
- Enter a unique address.
- Select Save.
Add the shipping address to invoices
- Select + New or + Create.
- Select Invoice.
- Select a customer from the Add Customer ▼ dropdown.
- Create the rest of the invoice as you normally would.
- Select ⚙ Manage (if not already open), then select the Customisation ▼ dropdown.
- Turn on Ship to. A preview of the Ship to address displays on the invoice.
- When you’re done with your invoice, select Save and close.
