Change custom GST rates

Learn how to update a custom GST rate you created in QuickBooks Online.
If your business requires a custom GST rate, the following article will show you how to make changes to it as necessary.
- Go to GST.
- Select Settings and then Edit rates from the dropdown list.
- Select On or Off beside the tax rate you want to make active or inactive.
- To confirm your changes, select Yes.
Note: Changes to the GST rate will apply to any future transactions you add it to. If you need to change the GST rate for an existing transaction, open that transaction and edit the rate manually. |
