Sending and printing pay slips

Once you have finalised your pay run, sending or printing pay slips is a simple process. This article will take you through the steps on how to send pay slip notification to your employees via email or SMS. 

How to send pay slip notifications

To send pay slip notifications to your employees, use the following steps: 

  1. Go to Payroll.
  2. Select the Pay Runs tab.
  3. Select Pay Period you wish to send notification.
  4. Select Publish Pay Slips Note: The pay run must be finalised before you can publish pay slips. Learn how to finalise a pay run.
  5. You will see a pop- up with options to send pay slip notification, select send notifications to employees
  6. Select Send.

Notifications will be sent to employees via email or SMS.

Note: Please be aware that charges may apply for notifications sent via SMS. 

How to print pay slips

If you have employees that prefer to have their pay slips handed to them manually. Here is how you can print pay slips for them.

  1. Go to Payroll.
  2. Select the Pay Runs tab.
  3. Select Pay Period you wish to print pay slips for.
  4. Select Pay Slips Note: Payrun must be finalised before you can publish pay slips. Learn how to finalise a pay run.
  5. Select View Pay slips.
  6. Select the pay slips you wish to print, download and print.

Additional Options

Email address for notifications: The email notifications will send out by default to the email address used in the Pay Slip setting located in the Payroll Settings (Under Business Settings).
