Learn how to get help with your QuickBooks product or service.

You can find answers to common questions using the Help panel in your product. If you can’t find the answers you need, you can also connect with an expert for your product.

We tailor Support to our individual QuickBooks products to get you the help you need as quickly as possible.



Use the in-product help

Select the product you use to learn more about the Help Panel.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select (?) Help.

  3. Select the Assistant tab to get help from the QB assistant, or select the Search tab to enter your question and find Help articles.

  1. Open QuickBooks.
  2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. Enter the question, keyword, or topic you need help with.

  1. Sign into your QuickBooks Self-Employed company.
  2. Select Help.
  3. Search for the question or topic you need help with.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Workforce account.
  2. Select Help.
  3. Enter your question and find help articles.

Note: The QuickBooks Workforce app doesn’t have a Help Panel yet. You’ll need to sign in to  QuickBooks Workforce through a browser to access Help.

Connect with an expert

If you couldn’t find the help you need with the QB Assistant (QuickBooks Online only) or by searching the Help panel you can connect with an expert. To connect with an expert select Contact Us in the Help panel and fill out the form. We’ll direct you to the right support team.

Easy Start, Essentials, Plus

  • Start a chat available Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET.

Advanced

  • Start a chat with a Support expert: Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET.
  • Set up a call back. A support expert will call you as soon as one is available.
    • English Support: Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET.
    • French Support: Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET.
  • Schedule an appointment Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET. A support expert will call you at the date and time you've selected.
  • Phone support for QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, and Enterprise is available Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET).
  • Messaging Support for QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier is available Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET). Enterprise messaging support is available Monday to Monday–Saturday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM PT (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET).
  • English Support
    • Support for ProAdvisors is available Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET (excluding holidays).
