Changed File directory in Profile - environment to another folder but still going back

Hi,

1. Profile created folder inside OneDrive>>documents>>MyProfile.

2. I had cut and paste "MyProfile" to local C drive >>MyPrograms>>>MyProfile.

I am trying to force Profile to save new files by default to the new address (No.2 above) but every time I open new return I go to Environment then File to find the directory referring to the OneDrive>>document (No1 above).

I click on the lock button after changing all T1years, T2 folder paths but  still whenever I start new return I find it suggesting documents (No.2) location.

Appreciate your thought please.

One more thing, I don't know why every time I update the preparer info, they go off when I start new file, not sure what wrong I am doing.

Thanks for your opinions

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community

Do you use an options package? Check in Options > Options Administration. If other then number 1 is selected you are using an options package and must save all changes to the options package.

Hope this helps

Thank you for your reply, yes the option admin is number one as you see in the attached JPG.

Can you please clarify why the folders paths in "option admin" and "option enviroment >>FILE" are different for me? Shouldn't the be the same?

Also, any idea why the preparer info gets deleted every time I save it, close the file and reopen it.
