Bank of Montreal (BMO)
Error 185
Error 185 usually indicates additional security requirements from your bank that need to be completed before you are able to get access.
This may come in the form of a prompt or code being sent to your mobile device. We are partnering with BMO to reduce the frequency of these prompts and working towards implementing a resolution to reduce their increase and frequency.
Meanwhile, please continue answering any security questions and enter the one-time passcode (OTP) or multi-factor authorization (MFA) in a timely manner to ensure a successful connection.
Please note that our teams are aware of the issue and are in the process of resolving it.
Open banking missing statements
Bank statements import is not yet supported for BMO open banking. We are working to get it implemented, and will send out communication when the feature is launched.
While we continue to work on getting this feature out to you, please obtain your bank statements by downloading the file directly from the BMO bank portal website. You can visit this page to learn more about Open Banking.

This update has caused an interruption, affecting the experience in your connection between Scotiabank and Intuit.
Open Banking, which is a government mandate, has been initiated in Canada to solve this problem by setting up a secure connection to send this data in a more efficient way.
