by Intuit•1• Updated 4 months ago
Find out how to remove the Accountant's Copy restriction in QuickBooks Desktop.
When you remove the restriction, you void the Accountant's Copy that was made. You'll need to do this if your accountant asks you to send another Accountant's Copy.
You might have to do this if you need to repair your file due to data damage. Make sure you create a back up of your company file.
Important: Once you remove the restriction, you can't undo it. Make sure you work with your accountant. Once the restriction is gone, the changes won't be imported to the company file. You'll have to send another Accountant's Copy.
