Merge duplicate customers in QuickBooks Online
by Intuit•15• Updated 2 weeks ago
If you have duplicate customer profiles, merge them to keep your customer list organized. Merging combines data from two profiles into one.
When you merge customer profiles, all data from the duplicate profile is moved into the profile you want to keep. The duplicate profile will become inactive. This action is permanent and can't be undone.
Prerequisites
Check that neither customer being merged has sub-customers before merging them. If they do, change their sub-customers into regular customers first.
