Fix connected app issues in QuickBooks Online

Learn how to fix issues with your connected apps in QuickBooks Online.
The My apps page is a tool to help you manage apps integrated with QuickBooks Online. It shows the status of all your apps so you can view and fix errors all in one place. We’ll show you where to see the status of your connected apps, how to manage apps, and resolve issues.
Note: Currently, the My apps page is available to a limited number of accounts.
Where to view the status of connected apps
You can view the status of all of your connected apps at a glance from the Business overview page and look for the My apps card. The card displays your total number of apps, categorized by those that have and don’t have connection issues.
Select View issues to be taken to the Overview (Take me there) page where you can manage all of your connected apps.
Alternatively, you can view the status of your connected apps by selecting the My Apps icon and choosing one of the apps to go to the Overview (Take me there) page.
Manage apps
The My apps page let’s you perform other actions, such as launching or disconnecting apps.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online as the Primary admin.
- Go to Apps, then select Overview.
- You can see all of your apps listed. If an app has no issues, you can select Launch to open the app, or select the ▼ dropdown menu to choose an option:
- Leave a review: write a review for the QuickBooks marketplace.
- Support: opens the help centre for the app in a new tab.
- Disconnect: this disconnects the app from QuickBooks.
Note: Dropdown options vary depending on the app, and if there are any open issues.
Fix app issues
The My apps page displays cards for all of your connected apps, their status, and an apps log to view all of the open errors for your apps. To resolve open app issues:
- Go to Apps, then select Overview.
- The app log displays any open app issues with info such as the name of the affected app, the date the issue occurred, error type, and suggested action. Select the log to view more details.
- In the Action column, select the available option to fix the issue. Options vary depending on the issue type.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete resolution.
