When accessing your profile on the Find-a-ProAdvisor website, you experience strange issues such as:
- The site redirects you back to the search page
- The page comes up blank
- The page displays, but buttons or fields are missing
- Other unusual behaviour
Why this is happening
When you have uncommon characters or symbols in the "About your practice" section of your Find-a-ProAdvisor profile, it can prevent your profile page from loading or displaying correctly.
These characters may include anything from hyphens (-) to registered trademark symbols (®). Letters with diacritics (such as the é in café), superscript text, and Unicode characters may also cause strange behaviour.
How to fix it
Edit your profile and remove any special characters from it. Your profile will update after a short time, and should now load properly.
