Year end: Review company name, address, and payroll number in QuickBooks Online

As you approach year end, you'll need to verify that your company legal name and address, as well as your payroll number, are correct in QuickBooks Online.

Verify your company name and address

1. Select the gear icon, then select Payroll Settings.
2. In the Taxes section, select General Tax Information.
3. Make sure that your filing name and address match exactly with the name on record with the CRA and Revenu Québec.
4. Select Done.

Verify your payroll number

1. Select the gear icon, then select Payroll Settings.
2. Select Tax Setup at the top.
3. Select Federal Tax Information.
4. Verify your payroll number and select OK.
