Categorize bank transactions in the QuickBooks mobile app

QuickBooks mobile app​ now uses AI to categorize your bank transactions automatically and explain why it picked that category. The refreshed view makes it easier to review transactions on your phone or spot anything that needs a second look.

You can quickly categorize bank transactions from any mobile device. In this article, we'll show you how.

1. From the Menu ☰, tap Accounting, then tap Bank transactions.
2. Select the bank you want to work with.
3. Tap the transaction you want to categorize.
4. For both iOS and Android, tap Category* and select the desired category.
5. Tap Save.
