Access Violation error message

I carried forward a T1 Return from 2020 to 2021. Then I clicked on “Previous year return” and thus had two returns open. When I went to the “Window” menu, I could see the 2020 and 2021 return. However, when I was switching from one return to another, each time a pop-up box appeared on screen with the following message: “Access Violation at address 00405F5F in module ‘profile.exe’, write of address 008253E0”.

 

Please note that just 4 days ago I called Profile technical support, downloaded the whole gpsetup.exe file and re-installed Profile (version 2021.3.0).

 

Unfortunately, the “Access Violation” error is yet another persistent error, which I have experienced over many, many years.

 

Any PERMANENT solution?
