The new release (2021.1.0) has had significant issues when reporting investment income on the T2. The most significant issue we have found is that the program is taking the General tax reduction (line 638 on the T2) for CCPCs on investment income...Which is obviously wrong. This can be manually overridden, but the difference is 13% on taxable investment income, which is no small issue.
I haven't found anyone else online with this issue. Is it just our firm? It has occurred on two separate desktops that were updated. We have a third that has not been updated and is still on 2021.0.5. This issue is not occurring there.
