I just carried forward a 2019 T1 return to 2020. On the 2019 tax return, on form TL2, I had created 2 tapes and one memo and checked the “carry forward descriptions” and “carry forward to next year” boxes, respectively. Such memos contain important information and since I use the same tapes every year, by carrying forward I don’t have to waste time on searching memos in the previous year’s tax return or each year creating new tapes.
However, only the memo was carried forward, but NOT the two tapes.
Unfortunately, this problem has been happening from time to time: some memos and tapes are not carried forward.
Can Profile offer any solution?
