Have a client that lives in Red Deer works in Fort MacKay (2 weeks on 1 week off) has to travel to Edmonton to catch the transportation it's costing about $400 each time client goes to work can client claim any expenses doesn't qualify for Northern Residence Deduction. Any direction on this would be helpful.

Sorry, there is no provision in the Income Tax Act for a deduction of travel expenses as you described. My son-in-law is in the exact same position.....some employers pay the travel.
