I am preparing T1 for my client. The client flew from Ontario to Alberta. Can I calim the airplane ticket for moving expense?
Travel medical is used when the equivalent medical procedures are not available in your home community. Thus justification is required as it may be requested by CRA for these trip, especially when travel costs are high. If the costs are justified, then yes, the airplane ticket is claimable.
they were asking about moving expenses not medical? if the move was to obtain a job or go to school then yes they can claim it as long as they have the receipt. hope this answers your question.
Thanks for correcting that, James.
