Can a Self-employed Husband claim CCA for the newly purchased car in the name of wife, as he is using that car for business purpose
If the husband is keeping good records for his use of the family car (log books for mileage, etc.), then there is no reason why he cannot also claim the CCA. The CCA would be claimed at the same ratio of use as the vehicle's other expenses. Keeping accurate records is a good way to "audit-proof" himself from the tender ministrations of the CRA.
