First time completing ONBEN form and I need help

My client was an ON resident and paid rent for 6 months. Under "Number of months resident in 2020"

for Part B Declaration, should I write 6 (the number of months he rented) or 12 (the number of months

he was a ON resident)?

I would be putting 12--the reason being if they were collecting before, CRA may reveiw and wonder why they were paid prior if only in Ontario for 6 month ??
