When a T4a slip was data imported from CRA, box 048 needs to be re-assigned to Business/Professional/Commission/Farming/Fishing. However, Profile will not allow this to be designated. Data input on the slip column is blocked. Starting a new column and placing the import "business" income in the "business" box is also blocked when box 028 is entered first. Box 028 becomes blocked when box 048 is entered first. There does not seem to be a way to enter both amounts in the same slip column. Data import will not assign the income as "business", only "Auto-fill from CRA" and it doesn't allow designation to the T2125.
So frustrating. Is there a work around other than using two separate slip columns?
