How to resubscribe to or reactivate QuickBooks Online

SOLVEDby QuickBooks3Updated 1 week ago

Need to resubscribe?  No problem!  We'd love to have you back.

You should be prompted to resubscribe as soon as you sign in to your QuickBooks Online company. If not, follow the steps below:

Note: You have to use the same payment method and billing frequency you had on your previous subscription to resubscribe. You can switch to a different payment method and billing frequency after resubscribing.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Settings ⚙.
  3. Under Your Company, select Account and settings.
  4. Go to Billing & subscription, then select Resubscribe.
  5. Select the New payment method (Credit/Debit Card, or PayPal).
  6. Enter the updated payment and billing information.
  7. Select Resubscribe.

FAQs

No. It's our policy not to back-bill.

We preserve your company data for 356 days following the cancellation date. If you resubscribe during that time, your data will still be available.

Billing for all QuickBooks Online accounts happens overnight, so the charge will not occur until after midnight.

For example, if you resubscribe on 01/06/2022, the next charge date would be 02/06/2022, and the charge would occur very early on 02/06/2022.

The Billing & subscription area is currently only available in the web version of QuickBooks Online, so you'll need to sign in using a computer browser.
