Connect to DBS IDEAL direct bank feeds

Learn how to connect your DBS IDEAL bank to QuickBooks Online through direct bank feeds.

Direct bank feeds provide a secure and reliable connection between your bank and your QuickBooks Online account. By establishing a connection directly with the bank, QuickBooks can receive transactions seamlessly, without you having to manually enter data.

Note: Only DBS IDEAL (DBS business) accounts are supported, this includes Checking, Current accounts, and Savings accounts.

Follow the steps below based on your current QuickBooks Online experience for a real-time snapshot of your account cash flow.   

Follow the steps below for a real-time snapshot of your DBS IDEAL account cash flow:

For customers with no existing bank connections
For customers with existing bank connections

For customers with no existing bank connections

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions (Take me there).
  2. Select Connect account
  3. Search for DBS IDEAL and select DBS IDEAL Business (Singapore) - Beta, this will redirect you to the DBS IDEAL homepage. 
  4. Enter your DBS IDEAL internet banking credentials. These may include: Email, Organisation ID, User ID, PIN, or Password 
  5. Select Log in
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate your banking credentials manually or through the use of a digital token
  7. Once you have read through the terms and conditions, select the checkbox to confirm, then select Authorise QuickBooks
  8. Using the dropdown, select an account or Add New. Enter the account details and select Save and Close. Repeat this step for each DBS IDEAL account you wish to connect
  9. Select Connect

Note: Once connected, it can take up to 48 hours for your DBS IDEAL account transactions to appear in QuickBooks Online. Do not attempt to modify or reconnect your connection during this time, as it may lead to connection issues. If you don't see any transactions after the 48-hour period, contact our QuickBooks Online support team for further assistance.

For customers with existing bank connections

  1. Go to Transactions, then select Bank transactions (Take me there).
  2. Select Link account
  3. Search for DBS IDEAL and select DBS IDEAL Business (Singapore) - Beta, this will redirect you to the DBS IDEAL homepage
  4. Enter your DBS IDEAL internet banking credentials. These may include: Email, Organisation ID, User ID, PIN, or Password 
  5. Select Log in
  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to authenticate your banking credentials manually or through the use of a digital token
  7. Once you have read through the terms and conditions, select the checkbox to confirm, then select Authorise QuickBooks
  8. Using the dropdown, select an account or Add New. Enter the account details and select Save and Close. Repeat this step for each DBS IDEAL account you wish to connect
  9. Select Connect
