Make a supplier inactive in QuickBooks Online
by Intuit• Updated 6 months ago
You cannot delete a supplier at this time, but you can make one permanently inactive.
Here's how to make a supplier inactive:
- Go to Expenses and select Suppliers (Take me there).
- Select Make inactive in the dropdown menu beside the supplier you want to make inactive.
Instead of making them inactive, it's better in some situations to merge accounts, customers, suppliers instead.
Now you know how to make a supplier inactive.
