Connecting HSBC Kinetic to QuickBooks Online

In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps of connecting your HSBC Kinetic bank account to QuickBooks mobile and Self-Employed apps. 

However, it’s important to note that you can’t connect your HSBC Kinetic bank account using a browser. Instead, you must use the QuickBooks app on a mobile device. This requirement only applies when you’re setting up the connection for the first time. Once your account is connected, you can use a browser or mobile app to access and manage your financial information. 

To connect your HSBC Kinetic bank account: 

  1. Download and open the QuickBooks app on your mobile device. 
  2. If you use QuickBooks mobile app, go to Transactions, and select Connect account.
    If you use the QuickBooks Self-Employed app, select Link account
  3. In the search bar, type HSBC Kinetic. 
  4. Select HSBC Kinetic - Mobile Only (UK) from the list of banks. 
  5. Read the terms and conditions, and then select Continue. You’ll be directed to the HSBC Kinetic bank app on your device.
  6. Follow the instructions to complete the steps.
