As of February 25th, 2020, ChronoBooks will back up and restore company data for QuickBooks Online Advanced.
ChronoBooks will no longer be available to back up or restore QuickBooks Online company data for QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, or Plus plans in the U.S.
ChronoBooks is currently available with QuickBooks Online Advanced at no additional charge. ChronoBooks will continue to be integrated with QuickBooks Online Advanced and offered as the online restore & backup feature for Advanced.
What do I need to do?
If you use ChronoBooks, you can upgrade to QuickBooks Online Advanced to maintain access. If you subscribe to QuickBooks through your accountant, contact them for any changes to your plan.

Important: Take action and upgrade to QuickBooks Online Advanced before February 25, 2020 to continue to use ChronoBooks.
Note: If you have multiple companies, each one needs to be on QuickBooks Online Advanced to use ChronoBooks.
What if I use ChronoBooks to export an existing company and upload to a new QuickBooks Online account?
Once these changes go into effect, existing ChronoBooks users will only be able to back-up and restore data to and from a Quickbooks Online Advanced company.
What if I’m an accountant and use a QuickBooks Online Plus plan that comes with my QuickBooks Online Accountant account?
This change affects all customers, including accountants using QuickBooks Online Plus with their QuickBooks Online Accountant account. You will need to upgrade your Plus plan to Advanced or find an alternative solution on the QuickBooks app store.
