Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription

Learn how to cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription in QuickBooks.

We’re sorry to see you go. If QuickBooks Self-Employed isn’t quite right for your needs, you can cancel your subscription in your app with few easy steps.

Note: If you purchased QuickBooks Self-Employed through the app store, cancel your subscription in Google Play or iTunes & App store.

Cancel a free trial

Your subscription cancels automatically at the end of the trial period without any fees. But if you need to cancel now, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ beside the help icon.
  3. Under the about you section, select Cancel Trial.

Cancel a paid subscription

Cancel on a web browser

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to Settings ⚙ beside the help icon.
  3. Select Billing Info, then Cancel subscription. If you change your mind, you can select Keep your subscription.

Cancel on iOS (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Open the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  2. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  3. Tap the Profile icon, then Settings.
  4. Tap Subscription, then Cancel or manage your subscription here.

Cancel on Android

  1. Open the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  2. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  3. Tap the Profile icon, then Subscription.
  4. Tap Cancel or manage your subscription here.
