Connect or Disconnect Square: Shoppable Landing Pages

Square: Shoppable Landing Pages syncs your Square store's products to Mailchimp. Use this information to grow your audience and send targeted campaigns. You can even add and edit your products in Mailchimp.

In this article, you’ll learn how to connect or disconnect Square: Shoppable Landing Pages, and how to manage products in Mailchimp.

Before you start

Here are a few things to know before you begin this process.

Connect Square: Shoppable Landing Pages

To install the integration, you'll need to connect your Square store to Mailchimp, choose the audience you want to sync with Square, and select a Square location.

To connect your Square account to Mailchimp, follow these steps.

  1. Click Integrations.
  2. Click Square.
  3. Click Connect A New Site.
  4. Enter your Square e-mail address and password, then click Sign In.
  5. Review the permissions request, then click Allow.
  6. Use the drop-down to choose an audience.

  8. Choose a Square location from the drop-down to sync with your Mailchimp account.

  9. Click Next.

  10. When you store is connected, click All Done.

Good job! Once your account completes the initial sync, setup is finished.

View site details

In your Mailchimp account, visit the Integrations page to view the site details for your Square store.

From here, you'll be able to view the connection status, your synced audience, change your Square location, and refresh and manage products in your Square account.

Whenever you add a new item to your Square store, or update an existing item, you can sync to your Mailchimp account from the Integrations page.

Sync Products

To sync your items from Square, follow these steps.

  1. Click Integrations.
  2. Click Manage your sites.
  3. If you have more than one connected site, click the Switch site drop-down and choose your Square account.
  4. In the Product Settings section, click Manage Products, then click Refresh Products.

Edit a Product

Edit product details from the integration page in Mailchimp and we’ll automatically send the changes to your Square account.

To edit a product in Mailchimp, follow these steps.

  1. Click Integrations.
  2. Click Manage your sites.
  3. If you have more than one connected site, click the Switch site drop-down and choose your Square account.
  4. In the Product Settings section, click Manage Products.
  5. In the Select a product pop-up modal, search for the product you want to edit, and click Edit.

  6. Update the Title, Image, Description, Price, or SKU fields as needed.
  7. Click Save.

Good job! Any changes you make will appear in your Square account.

Add a New Product

Add a brand new product from the Integrations page in Mailchimp, and we’ll sync it to your Square account. The title and price fields are required to add a new product.

To add a new product, follow these steps.

  1. Click Integrations.
  2. Click Manage your sites.
  3. If you have more than one connected site, click the Switch site drop-down and choose your Square account.
  4. In the Product Settings section, click Manage Products.
  5. Click Add.
  6. In the Title field, type your product’s name.
  7. Click Browse to open your computer’s file manager and choose an image. Or, drag and drop an image from your computer into the Select a product window.

  8. In the Description field, type a description of your product.
  9. In the Price field, type the price of your product. Your new product must be at least $1.
  10. In the SKU field, type the SKU of your product.
  11. Click Save.

Nice! Your new product will automatically sync to your Square store.

Disconnect Square: Shoppable Landing Pages

To disconnect Square: Shoppable Landing Pages, follow these steps.

  1. Click Integrations.
  2. Click Manage your sites.
  3. If you have more than one connected site, click the Switch site drop-down and choose your Square account.
  4. Click Disconnect.

  5. In the Are You Sure? pop-up modal, click Disconnect.
