Change customer-facing email address in QuickBooks

You can change your customer-facing email address in just a few steps.

Note: QuickBooks uses this email address to contact you.

How to change your customer-facing/outgoing email address

Select Settings ⚙, then Company Settings.
The Company tab will be selected by default. Select Edit ✎ to the right of the Contact Info section.
Enter your company's email address in the Company email field.
Select Save then Done to save your changes.

Don't have access to your old email address and can't sign in to QuickBooks Online at all? You can send us a request to recover your account.

Once you can sign in again, you can change the email address you use to sign in. Then you can follow the steps above to change your customer-facing email address.
