Compare revenue streams in QuickBooks Online Advanced

Find out how to compare revenue streams in QuickBooks Online Advanced.
Businesses will often have multiple revenue streams from things like different products or services, locations, or customers. With multiple revenue streams, it can be tricky to know which are the most profitable or where you should focus.
Use the revenue stream widget to quickly see which products, services, or even locations are your key money-makers.
Compare revenue streams
To see your revenue streams, make sure you’re logged in as an admin in QuickBooks Online Advanced.
- Select Dashboard, then you’ll see the revenue streams widget.
- Select Filter by, then select a revenue category.
- Select the revenue streams you’d like to compare, then select Apply.
- Use the date ▼ dropdown to adjust the time frame to compare.
Find top performing revenue streams
To quickly see your top three performing revenue streams:
- Select Dashboard, then you’ll see the revenue streams widget.
- Select Filter by, then select a revenue stream.
- Select Top 3, then you’ll see the top 3 performers from the revenue stream.
- Use the date ▼ dropdown to adjust the time frame to compare.
View revenue streams in mobile
If you’re using the QuickBooks Online Advanced mobile app, you can compare revenue streams in the performance center.
- Tap the Menu, then tap Reports.
- Tap Performance Center.
- Tap the Show dropdown, then tap a revenue stream you’d like to compare.
- Tap the Report period dropdown to adjust the dates.
- Tap See Details if you’d like to learn more about a stream.
