Mailchimp has a variety of features to help nonprofit organizations thrive, and we offer a 15% discount to verified nonprofit organizations and charities. Use Mailchimp to communicate your mission and stay connected to donors and members.

Things to know
Here are some things to know about the nonprofit discount.
- This article is about the nonprofit discount for Mailchimp marketing plans. If you plan to use SMS Marketing for donations, check out About SMS Marketing with Mailchimp. Discounts can’t be combined.
- Ads and any other third-party purchases made inside your Mailchimp account are not subject to discounts.
- We can't provide retroactive discounts or refunds on past purchases. Create a Mailchimp account and then request a nonprofit discount before you purchase a marketing plan.
- If you have questions about our discount policies that aren’t answered here, please contact our Billing team.
Request a nonprofit discount
To submit a nonprofit discount request for your Mailchimp marketing plan, follow these steps. This process doesn’t apply to SMS Marketing programs.
- Visit the Contact page.
- Click the Topic drop-down, then choose Billing.
- Click the What kind of billing question do you have? drop-down, then choose Non-profit Discount Requests (US) or Non-profit Discount Requests (Int'l) depending on your business location.

The information you’ll provide through the contact form varies depending on your business location.
United States
If your organization is based in the United States, you’ll need to provide a digital copy of your official 501c3 determination letter.
International
If you’re a nonprofit based outside the United States, provide a link to your organization’s website. We’ll review your request and let you know if we require additional proof of your nonprofit status.
