Customize sounds in QuickBooks Time

As an account administrator, you can set certain sounds to play when a team member clocks in, switches jobs or customers, and clocks out on a computer. (Currently, sounds are not supported on mobile devices.) Team members can then change or mute the sounds.

Install the sounds add-on

  1. In the left menu, go to Feature Add-ons > Manage Add-ons.
  2. Scroll down to Sounds, and select Install.
  3. In the Sounds Preferences window, select the drop-downs to make selections. To hear the sound, select the right arrow button ().
  4. In the upper right corner, select the X to close the window.
