Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments
by Intuit•304• Updated 2 days ago
Learn when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account.
Every day, QuickBooks Payments combines all of your customer payments (both sales receipts and paid invoices) into a single record. This record is called a batch of payments, or more commonly, a deposit. Deposit speeds vary based on the product you use to process payments and the type of payment.
Are you new to QuickBooks Payments? We'll deposit your first set of payments (sometimes referred to as a batch) within 5 business days. These early deposits take a bit longer while we set up your account. Once we set up everything, we'll deposit customer payments much faster. |
Prerequisites
- If you process payments in QuickBooks Online, you can check the deposit status of processed payments from QuickBooks Online. For all other products, use the Merchant Service Center.
- If the merchant manually enters ACH payments, they may be delayed due to extra security checks. Collecting ACH payments from Pay-enabled invoices can help reduce payment processing risks.
- Credit card payments have their own deposit schedule. If you process a credit card payment before 3 PM PT, we deposit it into your bank account on the next business day. If you process a credit card payment after 3 PM PT, we deposit it into your bank account within 2 business days.
