Enable clock in and out via QuickBooks Time Mobile

When Mobile time entry is disabled, an employee cannot use their mobile device (iOS/Android app or QuickBooks Time Touch) to clock in and out. They can log in and view their time but they cannot clock in and out.

Enable an individual

  1. Go to My Team.
  2. Select a team member.
  3. Select the Permissions tab.
  4. Select Mobile time entry, and select Save.

Enable all team members

Note: This option allows all team members to sign in from anywhere (computer or mobile) and completely manage their own timesheets via Time Slider, Manual Time Card, etc. To grant only the mobile time entry permission, follow the steps above in Enable an individual, and repeat for each team member.

  1. Go to Company Settings > Time Options Time Entry.
  2. On the Time Entry tab, select Allow team members to manage their own timesheets and select Save.
