Get help with QuickBooks products and services

Learn how to get help with your QuickBooks product or service.
You can find answers to common questions through Help in your QuickBooks product. If you can’t find the answers you need, you can connect with an expert for help.
Get help
Select your product below.
For a better experience, open this article in QuickBooks Online. Launch side-by-side view.
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
- Select (?) Help.
- You can use the QB Assistant and enter your question or topic. QB Assistant will provide options for you to get answers. Or, you can use the Search tab and enter a keyword or topic you're interested in. When you search, you'll be offered a list of articles related to your topic to choose from.
- If you can't find answers to your questions, select Contact Us to be connected to an expert for help. Note: you need to enter a question or search for an article before you'll see the Contact Us option.
Check the status of an open issue or case
If you have an ongoing issue or case with an expert, you can check the status in the Resolution Center.
- Go to Settings
.
- Select Resolution center.
- Select Product support.
If you need help with QuickBooks Capital or QuickBooks Live, sign in at these sites.
- Open QuickBooks.
- Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help/Contact Us.
- Enter a question, keyword, or topic you need help with.
- If you can't find answers to your questions, select Contact Us to be connected to an expert for help. Note: you need to search for an article before you'll see the Contact Us option.
- Sign in to your QuickBooks Workforce account.
- Select Help.
- Enter a topic, keyword, or question. You'll get a list of articles to help answer your question.

Solopreneur, Simple Start, Essentials, Plus
- M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT
- Saturday, 6 AM to 3 PM PT
Advanced
- any time, any day.

QuickBooks Plus and Enterprise include support.
If you don’t see the option to contact us in the Help menu, it's no problem. Check your display settings in QuickBooks Desktop.
If that doesn't work, you might need to update your version of QuickBooks Desktop. This is free and should take a few minutes and an internet connection.
- Gold tier and higher
- Monday to Friday: 4 AM to 8 PM
- Saturday: 6 AM to 3 PM
- Sunday: closed
- Silver tier
- Monday to Friday: 6 AM to 6 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: closed
- Chat support
- 8 AM - 9 PM ET Mon-Fri and Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM ET.
QuickBooks Online Payroll (Core, Premium, Elite)
- Core - Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
- Premium, Elite - any time, any day.
QuickBooks Desktop Payroll
- Basic, Enhanced, or Standard, M-F 6 AM to 6 PM PT
- Assisted Payroll, any time, any day.
QuickBooks Workforce
- Workforce chat is available Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT.
QuickBooks Time
- Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 6 PM PT
- Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET.
