QuickBooks Online Accountant or Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS)

To get help with QuickBooks Online Accountant or Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS), follow these steps:

1. Sign in to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS).
2. Select the help icon .
   Note: If you are using QuickBooks Online Accountant, then select Help.
3. Select Contact Us.
4. Type a brief description of your issue, then select Continue.
5. Select your preferred contact method:
   • Schedule Callback: Request a call from an Intuit Expert at a time that works for you.
   • Start a Chat: Connect with an Expert via live chat.
   • Community: Ask a question or browse responses from experts and other customers.

First, check which help experience you have

QuickBooks Online has two help experiences: A newer AI-powered experience called Intuit Intelligence, and the classic Help experience. The steps you follow depend on which one your account has. Here's how to tell them apart.

Select the help icon in the QuickBooks Online, then observe what appears.

In case you see Intuit Intelligence (the newer experience):

• Intuit Intelligence beta in the chat window,
  • A text field Ask anything appears with a multicolored border.
  • A sparkle icon may be displayed in the QuickBooks company dashboard when AI‑powered functionality is available, and it will appear at the time an AI‑driven action is triggered during your workflow.

If this is the case, follow the steps in Get help with Intuit Intelligence section.

In case the classic Help experience is seen:

• Assistant tab: Enter your question in the Type or ask something field, then select one of the answers or the options, which the QuickBooks Assistant provides.
• Search tab: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to get a list of related articles.

If this is the case, the Intuit Intelligence section must be skipped, and follow the steps in QuickBooks Online (classic Help experience) or QuickBooks mobile app section.

Get help with Intuit Intelligence

Intuit Intelligence is the built-in AI assistant in QuickBooks Online. When it's turned on for your account, it's the fastest way to get answers, and to reach a human expert when you need one.

1. Select the help icon in QuickBooks Online, or open Intuit Intelligence from the sparkle icon in the QuickBooks company dashboard.
2. In the Ask anything field, any question or request should be typed in plain language, and an answer is found or guidance through the task is provided by Intuit Intelligence.
3. If a person is still required, a request such as Chat with product support or Connect me to an expert should be entered, and routing to the best support option, such as a chat or callback is ensured by Intuit Intelligence.

Note: An active QuickBooks Online subscription is required to use Intuit Intelligence.

QuickBooks Online (classic Help experience)

Use these steps if you have the Assistant and Search tabs rather than Intuit Intelligence.

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
2. Select the help icon .
3. Select one of the following options to get help:
   • Assistant tab:
     1. Enter your question in the Type or ask something field.
     2. Select one of the answers or the options, which the QuickBooks Assistant provides.
     3. If you still need help, enter contact a human and follow the prompts till you see an option to connect with a support professional.
   • Search tab:
     1. Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to get a list of related articles.
     2. Select Contact Us and follow the prompts.

QuickBooks Online expert service hours

QuickBooks mobile app

To get help with QuickBooks mobile app, follow these steps:

For Android:

1. Sign in to the QuickBooks mobile app.
2. Tap Menu 𓃑 , then tap the help icon .
3. Tap Help and Support. Then, you can either
   1. Search articles: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles.
   2. Contact Us: Tap Contact Us, then follow the steps. You can either schedule an appointment or have us call you back as soon as possible.

For iOS:

1. Sign in to the QuickBooks mobile app.
2. Tap Menu 𓃑 , then tap the help icon .
3. Tap one of the following options to get help:
   1. Articles and support:
      1. Search articles: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field. You’ll get a list of related articles.
      2. Contact Us: Tap Contact Us, then follow the steps. You can either schedule an appointment or have us call you back as soon as possible.
   2. Ask QB assistant a question:
      1. Enter your question in the text field. QuickBooks Assistant will provide answers or options.
      2. Connect with an expert: If you still need help, type: Talk to an expert. Then, select one from Callback, Chat, or Ask the community.

QuickBooks Desktop

To get help with QuickBooks Desktop, follow these steps:
Note: These steps apply to QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, and Enterprise 2024.

1. Open QuickBooks Desktop.
2. Go to Help and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
   Tips:
   • Press F1 on your keyboard to open the Help window.
   • If you don’t see the Help menu, check your screen settings in QuickBooks Desktop or update its version.
3. From the Help window, you can either:
   • Search articles: Select Search, then enter your question in the search field. You’ll get a list of related articles.

QuickBooks Desktop expert service hours

QuickBooks Workforce

To get help with QuickBooks Workforce, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Workforce.
2. Select the help icon .
3. Select one of the following options to get help:
   • Assistant tab: Enter your question in the Type or ask something field, then select one of the answers or the options, which the QuickBooks Assistant provides.
   • Search tab: Enter your question in the Search questions, keywords, or topics field to get a list of related articles.

Connect with a trusted expert

• Assistant tab: Enter contact a human and follow the prompts till you see an option to connect with a support professional.
• Search tab: Select Contact Us and follow the prompts.

QuickBooks Self-Employed

1. Follow the link to go to the support page.
2. Select QuickBooks Self-Employed and enter your question.
3. Select Continue and follow the instructions to sign in to your account to connect with an expert.
