Learn how to earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits if you’re a ProAdvisor.
If you’re a ProAdvisor, we can help you maintain your CPE credits as a certified public accountant. Complete free accountant courses that help you expand your skills in your profession and in QuickBooks. Then, earn your CPE certificate when you finish a course. Here’s how it works.
Step 1: Find ProAdvisor courses that offer CPE credits
You can find all available training modules in the ProAdvisor tab.
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
- Go to ProAdvisor, then select Training.
- Find the course you’d like to take. You can check how many CPE credits you’ll earn right on the training description.
- Select a training module to get started.
At the end of each module, you can take an optional CPE assessment to earn your CPE credits.
Step 2: Save a copy of your certificate
After you complete a training, you can download or print a copy of your certificate of completion. Your certificate will show the amount of recommended CPE credits.

Step 3: Submit your CPE certificate for credit
Submit your CPE certificate for credit to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
